Common Questions: Carpet Cleaning
Common Questions: Upholstery Cleaning
These are all very relevant questions and are commonly asked before, during, and after you have your tile and grout cleaned by Spotless Flooring. As a professional we hear these questions and many more. We narrowed down the best of them all to provide you with as much relevant information as possible before your cleaning so that we may be the cleaner you remember.
How much do you charge for Tile and Grout Cleaning?
The best way to get a price for cleaning is to schedule a quote, short and simple. Tiles are usually in areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, and foyers. These areas always seem to be largely different from house to house. Because we charge by the square foot, the best way to get a clear accurate price is to schedule an in-home quote so we may provide an exact cost. Click here to schedule a cleaning estimate
How does the process work?
The best way we can describe it is “it’s an enclosed pressure washing system.” After we prepare the floor for cleaning, a cleaning detergent is applied. While our cleaning agents work it’s magic, we may scrub the tile and grout. Then our enclosed pressure washing system blasts away dirt using high temperature water and a special rinsing system. All the while, the water is vacuumed out at the same time leaving a spotless rinse. After using our detail tool to get into all the tight spots, we put fans down to speed dry the flooring and prepare for grout sealing.
What is grout sealing?
Grout sealing is a way to protect your grout from liquid damages. When you spill liquids onto the grout, the pores absorb the liquid. Even after wiping the liquid away you will still notice that some remains in those pores. Now you are left with staining and over time, damage, that may cause your grout to flake out.
There are primarily two different types of grout sealers, topical and penetrating. The one we use, and the only kind that should be used in a home, is a penetrating sealer. The sealer we use will not leave any sticky residue, it’ll dry quickly, and your grout will have a natural finish.
Will this cleaning system damage my baseboards or other connected floors?
No, the cleaning system we use will not damage any part of your home what-so-ever. We have a lot of experience using our products and equipment and have never had issues of damage, ever!
We have completed cleaning just days after fresh paint was put onto baseboards, no damage. In the case of wood floor or carpet transitions, it will only clean them. So no worries, we will get the job done right and everything will look great when we finish.
